The iEBH-WG is engaged in a variety of projects in the fields of histology, pathology, and microsurgical anatomy. We apply evidence-based techniques, including systematic reviews and meta-analysis, to explore both new frontiers and to review and summarize the medical literature to provide stronger, more accurate data and information which can be used to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes. We also explore clinically relevant elements of development and embryology. We work closely with our affiliate group, iEBA-WG, in order to explore clinically relevant anatomy, histology, and pathology in high detail.

While the focus of the team is employing evidence-based research methods to the abovementioned fields, the group is also engaged in original lab research projects. The iEBH-WG welcomes new members and are open to collaboration and partnerships from around the world.
